Käthe Kollwitz prints at U. of St. Joseph

An exhibit of etchings, lithographs and woodcuts by the legendary Käthe Kollwitz, who chronicled the lives of the working classes in Germany in the early 20th century, will be on exhibit until Sunday, March 17, at the Art Gallery at University of St. Joseph.

A gallery talk and reception will be held Thursday, Feb. 21, at 5:30 p.m.

The gallery is in The Bruyette Athenaeum on USJ’s West Hartford campus at 1678 Asylum Ave.

Gallery hours are Tuesday to Saturday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Thursday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday: 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is free of charge.
